Purpose

WGD Consulting, Inc., an Oregon corporation, recognizes and respects the right to privacy for all visitors of our website. This document clarifies the use of voluntarily-supplied information for purposes of conducting legitimate business as well as the use of electronically-supplied information for purposes of gathering statistics on website usage.

Scope

All claims for privacy rights, copyrights, etc. shall apply only to content stored on the servers or website of, or otherwise owned by WGD Consulting, Inc. WGD Consulting, Inc. shall not be held responsible for content supplied by or redirecting to external websites, servers, etc.

User-supplied contact information

WGD Consulting, Inc. shall take reasonable precautions to accept only legitimate contact information submitted to its website(s) and/or any other electronic medium but has no way to guarantee the authenticity of such information. WGD Consulting, Inc. shall only contact those entities which appear to have made a legitimate business request and shall remove any contact information that the recipient finds to have been falsely provided. WGD Consulting, Inc. may, at its sole discretion, report cases of suspected abuse to the corresponding Internet Service Provider and/or appropriate legal authority.

Statistics and user tracking

WGD Consulting, Inc. may, at its sole discretion, collect usage statistics of website visits ("hits") for the sole and limited use of improving the website content and/or user experience. This information shall not be used for tracking individual users nor shall usage data for websites external to WGD Consulting, Inc. be tracked.

Data retention and use

Individually-supplied user information shall be kept as long as it serves the legitimate business purposes of customer communications, marketing, sales, and/or payment/accounting. Entities may choose to opt-in to receive electronic and/or postal mailings, general communications, newsletters, etc. and may opt-out to discontinue such communications. Website statistics and tracking data shall be retained on an indefinite basis.
